The international symposium “Latest developments and advanced concepts in laser treatment and other surgical technics in ophthalmology” will be held in Timișoara from July 7 to July 9, 2023.

The event is organized by the Department of Ophthalmology of the Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Timișoara, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mihnea Munteanu in collaboration with the University of Medicine “Ruprecht Karls” from Heidelberg.

The event will be attended by over 150 ophthalmologists from Romania and abroad. Guest lecturers include Prof. Dr. Ramin Khoramnia from the University of Medicine from Heidelberg, Dr. Francis Ferrari from the University of Medicine from Paris as well as Prof. Dr. Horia Stanca from the University of Medicine “Carol Davila” from Bucharest.

Symposium participants will present topics related to new methods in the diagnosis and laser treatment of retinal disease, as well as aspects of the latest technology and materials used in cataract surgery.
