We invite you to take an online visual acuity test to help you quickly and easily find out if you need to come in for a more detailed eye examination.

Some tips for taking the test

This test has no diagnostic value. In case of eye health problems, only an ophthalmologist can perform a full ophthalmological examination to detect any visual problems.

1. Sit 1 metre away from the screen. Keep your glasses on.

2. Without pressing on the eyelid, cover the left/right eye with your hand.

3. Using the 4 arrows, indicate in which direction the open part of the letter E faces.

For the relevance of this test and to be as close as possible to a medical examination carried out during a specialist consultation, the test is designed to automatically switch to the other eye if you mistakenly point in the direction of the letter E.

Only they can make decisions about diagnosis, glasses prescription or medical treatment.
