Este posibil s\u0103 ave\u021bi nevoie de un lavaj de c\u0103i lacrimale.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><em>Epifora <\/em>sau ochii \u00eenl\u0103crima\u021bi rezult\u0103 din obstruc\u021bia la orice nivel a aparatului de drenaj lacrimal. Dup\u0103 ce lacrimile se acumuleaz\u0103 pe suprafa\u021ba ochiului \u00een lacul lacrimal, ele sunt drenate activ prin sistemul de drenaj lacrimal, o re\u021bea tubular\u0103 care \u00eencepe \u00een col\u021bul intern al pleoapelor prin punctele lacrimale \u0219i se termin\u0103 \u00een meatul nazal inferior (\u00een nas). Punctele lacrimale sunt poarta de acces la sistemul de drenaj lacrimal, se deschid \u00een canaliculele tubulare care se continu\u0103 cu sacul lacrimal ce se extinde \u00een jos \u0219i devine ductul nazolacrimal, dren\u00e2nd lacrimile \u00een cele din urm\u0103 \u00een meatul inferior nazal. Acestea pot fi:<\/p><ul><li>Traumatisme<\/li><li>Interven\u021bii chirurgicale anterioare<\/li><li>Infec\u021bii<\/li><li>Afec\u021biuni inflamatorii sistemice<\/li><li>Neoplasme<\/li><\/ul><p>Obstruc\u021bia congenital\u0103 de canal nazolacrimal este o afec\u021biune comun\u0103 \u00een r\u00e2ndul nou-n\u0103scu\u021bilor \u0219i copiilor foarte mici, 20 % dintre cei mai mici de 1 an fiind afecta\u021bi la nivel global. De cele mai multe ori, tratamentul pentru cei mici este conservator, cu observa\u021bie, masaj de-a lungul traiectului de drenaj si antibiotice topice, \u00eens\u0103 exist\u0103 situa\u021bii \u00een care \u0219i ace\u0219tia au nevoie de lavajul c\u0103ilor lacrimale.<\/p><p>Odat\u0103 ce medicul oftalmolog suspecteaz\u0103 o obstruc\u021bie pe traiectul c\u0103ilor lacrimale v\u0103 poate instila o pic\u0103tur\u0103 de fluorescein\u0103 \u00een sacul conjunctival, ca substan\u021b\u0103 de contrast. Dup\u0103 5 minute, aspectul suprafe\u021bei oculare \u0219i gradul de colorare al filmului lacrimal \u00eei va indica c\u00e2t de eficient sunt drenate lacrimile dumneavoastr\u0103.
