Ochelarii sunt cu siguran\u021b\u0103 necesari \u2014 dar nu sunt suficien\u021bi.<\/p><p>Medicii Centrului Oftalmologic Prof. Dr. Munteanu transmit un mesaj clar:<\/p><p><em>\u201eMiopia mare la copii trebuie urm\u0103rit\u0103 atent \u2014 nu doar corectat\u0103 cu ochelari.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><p>Miopia \u00een cre\u0219tere rapid\u0103 la copii nu este doar o problem\u0103 de vedere care se corecteaz\u0103 cu lentile. Este o afec\u021biune cu implica\u021bii pe termen lung asupra s\u0103n\u0103t\u0103\u021bii oculare, care necesit\u0103 monitorizare activ\u0103, control al progresiei \u0219i, \u00een unele cazuri, social.<\/p><p>Op\u021biunile de corec\u021bie includ:<\/p><p><strong>Ochelarii<\/strong><br \/>Sunt prima alegere la copiii mici \u2014 simpli de folosit, siguri \u0219i eficien\u021bi. Ochelarii trebuie purta\u021bi conform recomand\u0103rii medicului \u2014 de obicei permanent, nu doar la \u0219coal\u0103 sau la tabl\u0103.<\/p><p><strong>Lentilele de contact<\/strong><br \/>La copiii mai mari, lentilele de contact pot fi o alternativ\u0103 sau un complement la ochelari. De aceea, monitorizarea periodic\u0103 este esen\u021bial\u0103.<\/p><p><em>\u201eDioptriile trebuie urm\u0103rite periodic, ideal \u00eempreun\u0103 cu lungimea axial\u0103 a ochiului dac\u0103 aparatul este disponibil.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><p><strong>Controlul dioptriilor<\/strong> \u2014 la fiecare 6 luni la copiii cu miopie \u00een progresie \u2014 arat\u0103 c\u00e2t de rapid evolueaz\u0103 boala \u0219i ghideaz\u0103 decizia de a ini\u021bia sau ajusta tratamentul de control.<\/p><p><strong>Lungimea axial\u0103<\/strong> este un parametru extrem de valoros \u00een managementul miopiei la copii. Miopia mare \u00eenseamn\u0103 un glob ocular mai lung dec\u00e2t normal \u2014 \u0219i tocmai aceast\u0103 alungire excesiv\u0103 produce riscurile pe termen lung ale miopiei mari.
