\u0219i, totodat\u0103, una dintre bolile oculare cel mai des subdiagnosticate. Motivul este simplu \u0219i, din p\u0103cate, periculos: \u00een stadiile incipiente, <strong>glaucomul nu doare \u0219i nu d\u0103 semne vizibile<\/strong>. Vederea se deterioreaz\u0103 lent, iar pacientul poate pierde o parte semnificativ\u0103 din c\u00e2mpul vizual \u00eenainte de a realiza c\u0103 ceva nu este \u00een regul\u0103.<\/p><p>Boala apare atunci c\u00e2nd <strong>nervul optic<\/strong> &#8211; structura care transmite imaginile de la ochi la creier &#8211; este afectat progresiv. Cea mai frecvent\u0103 cauz\u0103 este cre\u0219terea <strong>presiunii intraoculare (tensiunea ocular\u0103)<\/strong>, cauzat\u0103 de acumularea excesiv\u0103 a umorii apoase, lichidul natural al ochiului. C\u00e2nd presiunea dep\u0103\u0219e\u0219te limitele normale pentru o perioad\u0103 \u00eendelungat\u0103, nervul optic sufer\u0103 leziuni care, odat\u0103 produse, nu pot fi recuperate.<\/p><p>De aceea, scopul principal al oric\u0103rui tratament pentru glaucom este <strong>reducerea \u0219i men\u021binerea tensiunii intraoculare la un nivel sigur<\/strong>, pentru a opri progresia bolii \u0219i a proteja vederea r\u0103mas\u0103.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section Este fabricat dintr-un material special, numit <strong>SIBS<\/strong> (poly-styrene-block-isobutylene-block-styrene), un polimer sintetic extrem de biocompatibil \u0219i bioinert, folosit \u0219i \u00een stenturi coronariene.
