doua\u201d<\/strong>. Este o afec\u021biune vizual\u0103 progresiv\u0103 \u0219i, spre deosebire de miopie sau hipermetropie, este un proces fiziologic, natural, care afecteaz\u0103 <strong>absolut pe toat\u0103 lumea<\/strong>, indiferent de starea ini\u021bial\u0103 a vederii.<\/p><p><strong>Mecanismul de Baz\u0103<\/strong><\/p><p>Presbiopia apare \u00een jurul v\u00e2rstei de <strong>40-45 de ani<\/strong> \u0219i se datoreaz\u0103 pierderii capacit\u0103\u021bii de <strong>acomodare<\/strong> a ochiului.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Cristalinul:<\/strong> \u00cen tinere\u021be, cristalinul (lentila natural\u0103 a ochiului) este elastic \u0219i moale. Mu\u0219chiul ciliar se poate contracta, modific\u00e2nd forma cristalinului pentru a focaliza obiectele aflate la distan\u021b\u0103 mic\u0103.<\/li><li><strong>Rigidizarea:<\/strong> Odat\u0103 cu \u00eenaintarea \u00een v\u00e2rst\u0103, cristalinul devine treptat mai rigid \u0219i \u00ee\u0219i pierde elasticitatea. Nu se mai poate modifica suficient de mult forma pentru a focaliza clar obiectele din imediata
